Ramia Abdo Sultan is a Founding Partner at LawBridge: a practising solicitor with over fourteen years’ legal experience and a deep expertise in wills, probate and estate planning, property law, family law and civil law matters.
Ramia has extensive experience in property law, where she has worked with private individuals, developers and corporations and assisted them in executing and optimising complex property transactions.
Some of Ramia’s notable recent work includes corporate legal advisory work for one of Australia’s fastest growing culinary industry umbrella companies, as well as commercial and retail leases for some of Australia’s major developers. She has also appeared before a range of courts including the Supreme Court of NSW and various tribunals.
Ramia also has a dual legal system interest, being a specialist in Islamic succession law, which she blends with her expertise in the common law system to help craft innovative and culturally appropriate solutions for clients. She has completed a Masters in Islamic studies to help achieve this rare dual-practice expertise.
A hallmark of Ramia’s strategic approach is her ability to craft litigation pathways that avoid court and costs as long as possible, encouraging her clients to reach optimised, negotiated settlements.
Ramia also has a background in lobbying and advocacy for minorities and is a prominent member of the Australian Muslim community, where she is Community Advisor to the Australian National Imams Council (ANIC).
